It looked nice, and it still sounds nice on paper that they maintain an
open source project. But look at the glaring change they've made to the
license. http://www.cups.org/documentation.php/license.html. Also they've
started making changes that make cups not as useful on Linux, since Mac OS
X doesn't use those features.

Overall they've shown that the only reason they bought it is to use it for
Mac OS X, and the only reason it's open source at all is because of the
copyleft GPL.
