Why does everything have to be treated as a question of law? Just
because something is legal, that doesn't make it right. Just because
there isn't an explicit commandment forbidding something, that doesn't
make it righteous. It's a pretty sad state of affairs when your only
measurement of right and wrong is a nit picking interpretation of the
law. As Paul taught in Romans, the only thing the law can do is condemn
us. We should be striving to live not by the letter of the law but by
the spirit.
